Financial arrangements
Before you seek non-emergency treatment at CommunityCare we suggest you contact your employer or insurance company to make sure you are covered and that CommunityCare accepts your insurance.

Note that you are responsible for all charges not paid by insurance. We accept personal checks and most major credit cards (Discover, Visa and MasterCard). If you are unable to pay your balance at one time, we will set up a payment plan for you


Apply for Medical Assistance
Depending on your household size and monthly income, you may qualify for Medical Assistance, also known as Medicaid, and sometimes referred to as MA. What kind of care is available through Medical Assistance?

  • Physical health options
  • Mental health/substance abuse services options

If you would like to apply for Medical Assistance, click to use COMPASS to complete an online application on the Pennsylvania Medicaid website.

You can also contact the Patient Service Call Center at 833-923-0101 and request an in-person appointment or speak with a patient financial counselor for assistance in applying or answering questions about Medical Assistance.
